This team is a layup drill on defense. How to let a Bucks team that barely used greek freak to go off for 53% shooting and 109 points at home is just pitiful.

Despite all metrics over 40% of the season telling you otherwise.

They were missing LMA badly and Kidd knew it; they ran their offense through the post every time. The bigger issue is Pop continuing to shit the bed in-game.

Fool's gold, I've seen this team give up layup after layup time and time again. A lot of the metrics are going to be skewed considering 80% of the league is quite poor.

Wrong.

All you have to do is let Manu smear his diarrhea all over the logo during the first quarter, then realize he needs to be benched the rest of the game, and we win.

IMO it wasn't that. It was that the guards could not stop getting beat off the dribble and then coupled with excellent cuts and interior passing it was tough.

I though the penetration was the issue IMO.

The weird thing with Pop is that he was great in the GS game as well as some of the Houston so I wonder if it's a motivation thing with him or what. I feel like he has the potential to be great this season but more often than not he treats his team with kid gloves far too often.

Then wouldn't they be skewed equally for everyone?

I think this year's Spurs team wouldn't even be a top 5 team in the league in most other seasons. This is literally the worst Western conference in 15 years. I never bought into them being a great defensive team and they are very soft at times.

40% of that season was against teams you are supposed to beat.

Regardless, Kidd recognized how important LMA is to the Spurs' interior defense and made an effort to attack it. If LMA plays the Spurs prolly win comfortably. The main issue tonight, as has been a problem for years now, is Pop's decision-making.

And pretty much better than almost every other team they did :lol
