tbh this nigga has impressed me. When he is on the court philly can hang in there against almost anybody, his impact is as real as it gets, also stats per minute are crazy for a rookie coming from 2 full-injury seasons tbh, who started playing at 15... kinda crazy when you think about it tbh. Imo I'm starting to think the old rumors were true, that hinkie sidelined him a couple of season to maintain max tank efficiency :lol

Hope he keeps beasting tbh
When is Simmons coming back? Imagine Emiids game with skilled passer like Simmons.

Embiid will take the torch from Westbrook as the next big showman in the nba...

NBA needs a showman..it makes for an intetesting league.

The guy is good. And not in a statpad way, he actually makes a positive impact on the team.

I saw the Hornets game the other night. He definitely has a star presence about himself on both ends of the court. The Hornets were clearly intimidated of his defense on several plays of the game.I remember whenever he was in the game that's when the Sixers went on their runs. His FG percentage could get better but I won't hold it against him since he's only a rookie. I think pretty soon within a year two he will consistently shoot 50 percent or above. Offensively he's very fluid and his moves are not mechanical like the other bigs you see in this league. He definitely has superstar potential and a chance to be a dominant player.

Is he really listed at 7'2" today ? I mean, he was listed at "just" around 7' back then as a draftee out of college. Seems just as tall as Hibbert in that game though.

I need to watch this guy play more. I tried watching a few of their games at the start of the season and he looked really good in his limited minutes. He was the only reason I tuned in to those games.

Those knees & feet bones though .... Stay healthy, Embiid.

It doesn't make sense for him to bulk up too much tbh
1. Health issues
2. His mobility for someone of his size is a big part of his game
3. In :lol today's NBA he's already the biggest guy on the court pretty much every game

Became one of my favorite players this year. He's just fun to watch man, and his personality is contagious. Funny guy, seems like he could get along with anyone.

Simmons is supposed to make his return next week according to rumors, they bumped a game for the sizes prime time slot. I would love to see these two stay healthy and play together for a long time. NBA just lacks teams you care to watch much of tbh.

Poor Sam Hinkie, tbh..his plan seems to have worked, but he was blackballed for being different and replaced by the biggest scumbags in an NBA front office(outside of Phil)..

Playing Embiid in the high post is just dumb IMHO, yes he can burst to the rim & finish explosively, but that's just too risky to his body. He has the skill & body agility to be a post player without banging too much against opponent big men, that will be a less risky offensive game for him i think.

this makes little sense considering that they don't allow contact past the FT line and allow lots of contact below it. if you are afraid for him to run and jump he shouldn't be playing.

I think his body can actually absorb that kinda punishment down low, upper body built & strength of a tank. But those joints & ligaments of his lower limbs, not every big is as durable as the like of DeAndre Jordan with all those explosive jumping & landing. I am just gonna really REGRET it if that kinda talent will have his career cut short with injuries.
