Firesale by the Magic. I feel sorry for their fans ... none of their recent draft picks have developed as expected and they have jettisoned good role players bc they are under pressure. No take on Payton or the proposed thread. Dude is a PG who can't shoot and will be tough to fit in... But beyond that... Pop is standing pat.

Why trade for him? Just let Murray get more run.

Patty is in his prime physically. After international play and everything. Is OP mad I made his deleted thread irrelevant . :lol

We need a good young SG. Not PG. We have Mills and Murray for the future.

Payton can legit attack the basket and create, but can you imagine all those PGs swarming Leonard and Aldridge. :lol

Going to to be ugly..:lol

Plus, spurs are committed with Murray.

Also, Kawhi would probably pissed. Seems like a guy that wants the best for the specific season.

Make the backup backcourt be compromised of Murray/Payton & run teams out of the gym like the Nuggets did w/ the Lawson/Felt_On backcourt in '12-'13. Manure/Lee/Dedmon/Bertans are guys that fit a fast paced offense so that's shouldn't be a problem.

Pop is going to finish playoff games w/ Porker so Kawhi/LMA post-ups are irrelevant, tbh.

Tony Allen/Rondo played in the same backcourt & it wasn't an issue

Wake up! Orlando isn't going to trade for Paddy entering a contract year and then have to pay through the nose to keep him or fear losing him.

They traded Oladipo for Ibaka's expiring contract & paid Biyombo 70 mill, they are the type of team that would trade for Patty.:lol

Sorry i didnt include the multiple 1st/2nd round picks the spurs would have to send along with anderson so this trade wouldn't be too lopsided in the spurs favor.

payton is a young, budding legit playmaking point guard with good length and upside. they aren't trading him for mills :lmao

Is that why they keep benching him for DJ Augustine?:lmao

Is that why they keep benching him for DJ Augustine?:lmaoand he proceeded to ouplay augistin prompting them to start him again. he's been playing exceptionally well since. they're not trading him for mills, you're delusional.

and even if they did, we need mills for the spacing he provides with the second unit. payton would be an awesome parker replacement. not a particularly great mills replacement. dejounte murray is currently our payton in training

Dijon is actually showing signs of becoming a better 3-point shooter.

Patty is going to be playing 15 minutes in the postseason so he's basically a non factor against the Duds/Cripples/Cavs.:lol

If the Spurs could somehow land Vucevic that would be incredible!
