As I recall.... the Sixers was trying to get Ben Simmons to bulk up asap... didnt he add almost 30 lbs within the last few months? thats crazy....

We should let Dejounte Murray naturally grow and develop his body slowly but steady... I guess what Im trying to say is that lets not rush him that can cause a major injury. That is all.

Being skinny in basketball is not a bad thing. Dude needs to add strength and not bulk. Atleast more strength than bulk. People that workout know the difference. :tu

This is what Murray needs. He's gotta be assertive doe. Every time he sees Tony with a meal, just grab it and start doing this.

Tony is God tier eating champion though. Murray can't go one for one with Porker. :lol

adding too much weight too soon is bad for your knees. Your legs aren't used to handling that weight and can cause injuries or tendonitis. Imagine playing ball in a weight vest every game. That's what it would be like putting on too much bulk too quick. They should let him grow into his size. Unless he's on ped's like Lebron, no one is gonna put on 30-40 lbs of weight and get faster over time

Simmons got hurt because Philly was worried they'd be too good with Embiid back. And damn if they aren't right. Holy hell that guy's good. Anyway, Murray does need to bulk up so he can take contact in the air better. Strength only matters when you're on the ground. But he's probably going to be lanky his whole career and doesn't need to change his body too much if he can get better at playing angles and using his length. It's going to be a balance of skill, body type and athleticism.

I haven't followed Simmons this season, tbh.

You understand that Simmons announced that 33 pound weight gain just 3 months after he left LSU, and a whole month before the start of the season? That boy went to see Draymond's nutritionist. And I guarantee you the Sixers didn't tell him to gain damn near 3 pounds a week for three months. Neither will the Spurs encourage Murray to bulk up that much, nor that quickly.

Murray still has a kid's body, because he's still a kid. It's always cool to watch how much those young guys change in the first 3-4 years. Look at how much Kawhi changed since college. I'm sure the Spurs won't encourage Murray to do anything harmful.

BTW - Kyle Anderson has been out of college too long to still look like fucking Gumby. HE needs to go see Draymond's nutritionist, knees be damned.

Arms are noticeably smaller, but the baby cows look solid. Kid clearly took his leg days seriously, genetics don't hurt either.

Arms and shoulders. Damn, the shoulders on Kawhi these days. But, yeah, the calves are like rocks.
