In fairness he had 16 and 12 on 50% shooting as well as 6 assists. He plays more like a really good role player thna a star but he did have a huge jumper in OT and some nice rebounds to keep the game alive for us.

Hopefully he got it outta his system in a regular season game. He was big against the thunder last year when it really mattered tho

Was actually joking with my sister that he was gonna miss both, the guy did.

Played a great all around game. Who cares

Dude had so many good plays down the stretch that I don't care. Esp bc Spurs won and him catching the inbound pass basically sealed the game unless Love hits a one in a million 3.

He was sweating it too much.

Could tell he didn't want to be shooting those FTs. Even that corner left shot, you could see him a bit nervous he had to take that wide open shot. He sort of aimed it instead of shooting in rhythm. But he did well to make it all the same.

He was shitting his pants. The missed FTs came as no surprise. I was just hoping the first would rattle in the first to take the pressure off. Instead, he felt it even more for the second and back rimmed it (pretty big brick).

I'd prefer these over missing in the finals tbh.

He said he missed the FTs b/c he was tired, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since he showed up in the 2nd half.

LeBron had the biggest turnover of the game. He's still great and so is LMA, not LeBron great, but on a high level.

Committing turnover in traffic b/c of miscommunication/defense is one thing, missing 2 FTs when you're an 83% shooter is another thing.

Your jokes are stale, bro. And for what it's worth, it's not better than Jimmer. There's nobody I'd rather have on the line to make a FT than Jimmer, tbh.

4th quarter free throws has always been a Spurs problem, tbh.

Lamarcus played so fucking soft today it made me sick. The Spurs won tonight but there were a lot of things that pissed me off - especially with Pop's rotations. Murray played great in the first half but found himself on the bench for much of the second. Thankfully James played like ass and the Spurs were able to pull out the win.

I was surprised at the unclutchness (though Manu4tres would say there's no such thing) But he's indeed an 83% FT shooter so the pressure did get to him.

Cue Kawhistorm and the ability of guys to perform under pressure.

Gotta redact this. Upon watching the replay, LMA was getting himself in position with space to make the shot, and he looked pretty confident.

He made a big baseline jumper to put us up by 3 though late in the game

FWIW, I knew he was going to miss both. That's just how the Spurs roll. Always the drama.

Following Kawhi's lead on crunch-time FT choking, after shooting 50% FG, mostly jumpers.

LA and Kawhi have to integrate seamlessly and thats still an ongoing process and I think whatever timidity he has is because he has to think and not just act. He has to pull back somewhat and think about whats good for the team which I dont think comes natural. Having said that, other than the FT misses, I think he had a great game. He was high in rebounds, which is what Ive been clamoring for him to do and now hes got this new skill that I think is great, his passing. So now hes not "you guys do all the hard work and Ill just sit back and drain medium range jump shots and get the glory because I get paid the most" guy. Now hes integrating with his team, doing the unsexy, non scoring work. With this attitude hes going to get some high scoring games to go with it.
