In the moments after the longest night of his basketball life Saturday, Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard slumped in a chair in front of his locker at Quicken Loans Arena, an ice wrap covering his sore left hand

Hopefully, it's nothing but his hand has been bothering him since Suns game and we never know with these injuries... :depressed

It's not resting...This sound like 2015.

Pop was saying that Kawhi has a hand 'minor' injury until..."the doctor's been doing hands for 40 years, and it's the first time he's ever seen this injury." :depressed

And other teams knew what happened with his hand in the last games, that's why JR was full on that hand and hit it...:bang

He's on the bench chatting with the coaches and players. If it was serious I doubt he'd even be with the team. They would have sent him home like they did Parker. Resting him against the Nets made sense. Pop gambling tonight with DeRozan out. I bet he's back next game.

I hope you're right. But they wouldn't send him home for a hand injury, Parker with his injured foot can't train, Kawhi can.

Yeah Jeff McDonald was on ESPN San Antonio radio and said as much. The hand has had an x ray and MRI and the team is not concerned.

Link? He's been on the bench clapping and high fiving. Pop said Kawhi had "an injury that's not really an injury," then apologized for giving an alternative fact. "I shouldn't have done that."

Link?

What link? I posted that "it sounds like 2015 when Pop..." I meant that Pop's first thought was it looked like a minor injury but then it resulted in a severe injury in 2015.

It was just an opinion before the game.

In 2015, he had a ligament tear which was causing his hand to swell. I think he just has a contusion this time thus is just experiencing soreness. In '15, it was also his right hand & not his left.
