I was saying to a friend of mine, I didn't want the Warriors to win last season as I hated their over-celebrating, so I went back and forth throughout that whole series on who I wanted to win. I picked Cleveland as the lesser of two evils, but I didn't want them winning either because I thought that opened the door for Durant to Goldenstate. I had no idea he was that serious about coming to the Spurs. I thought we would have been third on the list behind OKC, Goldenstate and then the Spurs as a long shot.

It's a technicality anyway. Warriors could and should have won the Finals. They were fully equipped to be a championship and were improved from the previous season. Actual title or not didn't make much difference.

I don't blame him for getting away from WB. But they did almost reach the Finals and choked.

Eh, I don't see too many similarities with what LeBron did, unless you just mean Durant made a move as a free agent (which applies to everyone).

LeBron went to a Heat team that was either outside of the playoffs or being bounced in the 1st round. Sure, Bosh joined but he was a top 20 player with no success previously.
