He finally seems to have something going with the Sixers and the future looks bright for him. Think he puts a flier on Patty for veteran presence?

Paddy is probably the best SG on the team, tbh..
Still wouldn't pay more than 5M/per for him though

Maybe he will send us disgruntled Noel, but I am happy for him, The Process is a monster

Maybe...He's looking at Spurs roster if those Manu's rumors were true.
But I'd like if Spurs keep Patty to help Murray development process

Paddy, Deadmon, and Kyle for Noel..... who says no? then get a Jarrett Jack off the street or a next to nothing trade, Forbes for DJ Augustine to fill the Patty bench roll

I think he will. Patty will have suitors for sure.

Would never happen, tbh. If anything happens between both teams, it will be in the off-season via sign and trade.

Could see philly offering Mills $10 million per year in the off-season.

Hopefully they continue the run they're on and make a push for the playoffs.. might want to go for it at the trade deadline
We have too many PG's, they have too many Centers

I say no. Word is Noel is immature and surrounds himself with bad people. It's why he fell in the draft and why the Sixers haven't found anyone to take him yet. I doubt Pop could change that, let alone put up with it.

He mainly fell in the draft for being crippled, tbh.

Now watch him get fired. This is the Sixers after all.

The team I'd be most worried about is New York. I imagine they'll offer Mills at least $15 million a year and a starting job. Dallas will probably make the same offer too.

I don't think $10 million a year is going to get it done signing Patty. If that's all the Spurs offer he is gone.

I'd also say no. Noel is like Splitter, a hell of talent that can be an amazing player when he's on, but a china doll who can't be counted on.

He still made us pay Ginobili almost $20M.

Definitely. I don't think this is a Danny situation.

Noel will get paid during the off season. Probably 14mil plus. 60mil four year offer at minimum. Mahinmi, similar player but far less upside got more than that, so that put things into perspective. The only reason why we would trade (if we are willing to pay him in the off season) is keep his bird rights. Noel isn't going to be the missing piece this year. Our 4 big rotation, with Anderson and Bertans playing spot minutes at 4 and Leonard who can play minutes at 4, our big rotation is fine. It is all about the future. I a bet the Spurs believe they have a better chance at keeping Dedmon and Lee, and those two would be more beneficial than loading up with Noel.

Hope Dallas go after Noel in the summer instead of Dedmon.
Philly, Brett and Patty are an amazing match, it'd be incredible if it doesn't happen but there's a chance Collangelos fuck it up, fire Brett, or try to go after multiple stars/names.

TBH Patty and Joe Ingles are UFA's at seasons end, both were the cornerstones of the Aus national team he coached and both fill needs for them.
i think that's their move.

Apparently drafting injured centers every year with top 10 picks pays off eventually.

Well, it will have 2 superstars (embiid and simmons), a possibly star (saric), defensive anchor (noel), some very good role players (covington, mcconell, holmes, korkmaz) and one or two lottery picks, .. Impossible to go wrong, good for him

Can't wait to see that team with Simmons tbh. They still have alot of draft picks too.

The way Embiid hurt his knee is troubling. Meniscus and patella injuries are not good. However if Simmons can come in and contribute with his ball handling skills we have a good chance to peak higher than this current run we are on. As the defense becomes more consistent so shall the team go.

When did Embiid hurt his knee? Is he OK?

He landed awkwardly after a dunk and appeared to hyperextend his knee a bit. It was not that awkward. They called it a contusion but if there was a contusion it was inside his knee.
He was not out long but the way he landed should not have caused a bone bruise.
