Am I the only one with a "soft spot" for the Big Dogg? He hasnt signed anywhere, and for some strange reason I would like the Spurs to re-sign him. I hated him for almost his whole career. But since he played here, there is something about him that I really like. He could be like a Steve Smith was in 2003. Sit on the bench as insurance and come in when needed.

Anyone else wanna see him come back??

The last article I saw said that he was bothered by some injuries and might retire ... and that the Spurs hadn't contacted him all summer.

With the age of the bench being not so young already, I'd rather have 2 young guys fill out the roster and plan for the future.

Glenn played well last season. He would be a good insurance policy for the team. How much would it take to resign him is the question.

Problem is, there isn't a spot on the active roster for him. If he was amenable to spending large amounts of time on IR then why the hell not?

I would like to see him sign with us. If he is starting to break down then I would rather have a younger player for us to develop

Dont think Big Dogg is going to sign with us at the start of the season. Sad but I think there is seriously no space for him. I would rather sign young players to develop and stick on the IR.

There is room in my heart for Big Dogg. Unfortunately for him, Pop's roster is full. = )

It was a fare deal. He got what he wanted (the ring) and we also benefited from that.
I agree with Kori, we should fill up the roster with young prospects.
