I think he probably would have had the same success in terms of wins/stats (although it's not like he ever had to carry some of the ultra shitty receivers Brady had to work with), but to pretend that we can assume someone with a playoff resume as questionable as Manning's would have been able to produce 5 superbowls the same way Brady did is ridiculous. As talented as Marino was, I just can't fathom a top 5 QB being a guy who, not once in his career, outplayed every other QB he went up against. Had a SB title run with more TDs combined than Peyton for his two, is putting up more efficient passing seasons and has a higher peak season rating-wise already, Peyton IIRC only has one season where he didn't throw 10+ picks

I can't put Big Ben over Peyton Manning. Both of his rings came by a Brady injury or avoiding Brady in the playoffs completely and that's not including his 3rd SB appearance where he choked on the final drive. On ring 1...Ben rode his D like Manning did in 2016. On ring 2 Ben played well and had that clutch SB winning drive, but that isn't enough to put him over Manning. He missed the playoffs in 2006, 2009, 2012, and 2013. He went from winning the 2011 AFC title game to not winning another playoff game until the 2016 wildcard round where the Bengals handed him that game. He got his shit pushed in vs Denver that year. Then they beat a shitty Dolphins team this year, failed to score a single td vs Alex Smith, and then he shit the bed vs Brady per the usual.
