The more advanced statistics get, the more Manu Ginobili stands out - Pounding The Rock

What a great career for our Manu has had as a Spur. It has been such a privilege to watch him play.

Most advanced minds already knew this, tbh.

Manu is one of the greatest to ever lace them up. Period.

And people talking here about the all star game as if it matters.

If Pop had just given him the honor of starting for a few minutes and then relegating him to 6th man, he would have more All Star honors. So many people in those great years only thought of starters as worthy and didn't look beyond that. Pop did the same with Tim and he has acknowledged that.

The terrific thing about Tim and Manu is that they were willing to put the team first and accept whatever Pop wanted their role to be.

I actually remember a couple of commentators discussing how Manu shouldn't win 6th Man, because he wasn't really a bench player - he was a starter coming off the bench. As if that was something to hold against him.

The reality inversion in this world is mind-boggling sometimes.

They don't when you misuse them. Anyone who understands the game knows what ginobili does. He's so crafty without the ball and makes the right play almost all the time. He's my favorite spur

If you watch the games and don't have aspergers, you would already know, tbh...
