PS3 is slow as fuck on the Playstation Store. Which PS3 do you have btw? Gamestop was selling them dirt cheap a couple of weeks ago so I picked one up to play Demon's Souls. They were selling all used fat PS3 for $40 even though it's the early backward compatible ones (with 90 nm Cell and 90 nm RSX chips) that die quickly. I got one of the CECHP models (160GB) that came from when they shrunk the Cell and RSX to 65 nm, cutting power consumption from 200W to 130W, and they're supposed to be a lot more reliable. They wanted $95 for the Slim with the shrink to 45 nm and 100W power consumption, but no way I'm paying a Ben for a fucking old used console.

Thank God I didnt buy a 32X either.. Another steaming POS.. 32X was the only way I could enjoy the Doom craze, so a weekly rental at my Hollywood Video was perfect.

Saturn was a huge POS too, especially considering they basically pranked the consumer and did a surprise launch 8 months early to beat the PS1 to US stores.. Now the Dreamcast on the other hand.. God bless the Dreamcast, I fucking loved that system.

Have you tried the nullDC emulator? It can play most Dreamcast games flawlessly. Except for some reason I can't get NBA 2k1 working.
