Ford seemed like he would be a good addtion to team he had a monster block and some good moves offensively and defensively. I know it was only 1 game but I hope he makes the team. He did a whole lot more than Rasho and I don't hate rasho but he looked terrible last night.

I though he looked good as well. Im sure he could at least make the IR.
And I could not beleive the way Marks was hitting outside jumpers.

It seems like he's not really attracted to playing down low.
Whatever, I'm glad to have him around and that he did well.

If you think of him less in terms as a 7-footer and where he should be standing and more in terms of his being another Barry, he's definitely an asset. I was really impressed last night. He looks gangly and uncoordinated, but who knew he had a killer jump shot?

He gives 200% in practice - so I am not surprised him having a jump shot.

The guy is best known for his work-ethic. Tim,Manu, Bowen etc. all wanted him back. Pop always praises him for his commitment to the team concept.

Injured Reserve. Marks spent nearly all last season on the IR. It's not a position per se.

As much I loved Sean hitting his shots, do we need a 7-ft jump shooter?Seeing as our offense runs best when we have a 6'10" jump shooter paired with Duncan, it couldn't hurt.

Marks showed that if he is activated he can be a useful 5th big.

Ford showed that he has the potential to be a NBA player. Ditto for Sanders and Graham.

Yes, Ford did very well. I was talking about that last night, that I liked that guy. He owned Walker like 2 or 3 times.

As good as Ford looked yesterday, he looked just HORRIBLE in summer league. So I guess we have to watch him in a few more games and see what happens. He seems to have the tools.

I was more surprised that Jawad Williams was so bad yesterday than I was that Ford played well.

Everyone says Marks has a good reliable shot--in practice. Apparently this slops over into exhibition games.

I've never seen him do squat in the few real games he's been in. But apparently he's necessary to maintain team morale.

Yeah, you have to take in consideration it was only one game, we'll have to see him in other games other situations and see how he performs. Jawad disappointed me as a UNC fan :depressed

Ford was pissing Walker off, you could tell Walker had that "once i get the ball im going to score on this rookie" look on his face

I guess I will contribute to the overreaction...what the fuck Fin goes off 3-10 in a starting role against a team that barely makes the playoffs. I told you this guy was washes up but Timvp acts like fin is better than Devin

Marks played very well when everyone else was hurt last year. He hits the glass very hard and he's not afraid to take it up strong. He's always had that jumper and though he missed a few last year in his first few games, he did hit it on a consistent basis. If Rasho had half his jump shooting ability and a quater of his balls, we'd be in good shape.

He's a good guy to have around for practice and in case you have some injuries. I don't expect he'll see big minutes at any point with the frontcourt as deep as it is.
