There's a really simple solution: change the immigration laws if you want undocumented immigrants to remain. Why have immigration laws if you're going to backdoor them by pretending Mexico is a sinking ship and that the US is a rescue vehicle? The Mexican government could create a similar situation in Mexico so that anyone can cross freely. We don't seem to have any issues with our Northern neighbors.
