The game against Colorado this Saturday is NOT going to be an easy one. IF UT can with the South, we're probably looking at playing these guys again in the Big XII championship game (bring back any memories of the last time we played them in the Big XII championship?). Being at UT fan, I've suffered through way too much trauma, so I just can't make the assumption that we'll handle these guys on Saturday and then just win out the rest of our games. UT needs to be focused and ready to play this weekend. We can't afford to have some of the sloppy play we've had recently on offense, particularly putting the ball on the ground way too much. Also, there is the possibility that Charles might not play due to a bad ankle, how confident are the rest of you that Selvin won't fumble at least once?

So, if we can forget about the ou game and really focus on this upcoming game, I think we're ok. I just can't quite buy into the 20 point spread for this game, I think it will be closer game than that, Colorado will be ready to play.

Horry For 3!

As for the Colorado offense, you need to stop the RB Charles and the TEs for Colorado, that is all they have for offense. Their WR are pretty shitty so they mostly throw to the TEs. They are some big dudes too 6'6, 6'7 and fast.

Um... no. A&M did their best to make Colorado look like world-beaters.

A good team, but no great team. Their WR's weren't even that effective against one of the worst passing defenses in the country.

^ Bonfire, I was wondering what your take on the a&m/colorado game was. I watched a good chunk of that game and I just couldn't tell if colorado was that good, or if a&m was just having a bad game. Actually, I don't know what to think about a&m lately, I know they've got quality talent on that team and there is no way they're as bad as they've been playing lately. But, did you think colorado was just playing extremely well? I mean, they looked pretty efficient on offense, and their D looked pretty good, I just can't get a read on these guys and was wondering what your take on them was.

Also, with a&m, you think it's time to get rid of Torbush as the D coordinator? Watching the a&m defense, those guys just looked confused out there, not sure what their assignments are.

I believe in efficiency, unlike the current incarnation of the Aggie offense.

No one gave the Buffs a chance against the machine that was the Chris Simms, Cedric Benson, Roy Williams, etc Longhorns in the Big 12 championship game. Barnett has made a good living constructing upsets. The Buffs will be ready. Klopfenstein is gonna own your LB's.

Chris simms was a fucking choker, and Major Applewhite was the man he almost single handedly came back and won that damn game
