Hell, I loved John Wick because he busted tons of caps in niggas asses. Now John Wick 2 is getting great reviews. 90% on Rotten tomatoes from the critics, and 92% from the audience. I have to see this shit. :claw

I watched the first one expecting a shitty to average action movie. But I loved it. Limiting Keanu's lines was genius. I'll definitely watch this next one.

This really has some franchise potential. The world building has been outstanding.

Keanu is back baby.

Seriously I'm glad for him. After Matrix 1 and the thing with her sister he couldn't fine his footing. So it's nice seeing him bounce back.

I'm happy for him as well. From what I've heard, he's a really good dude that helps out a lot of people while not seeking any publicity about it.

Hell yeah! It was just as good as the first, if not better. Please just end it as a trilogy though. They've already set up the next one to be an epic end to his story being excommunicado, on the run, everyone out to kill him, etc. They could either kill him or finally have him retire in peace. I don't see a point in stretching it out to several more films, just give us a good end.

BTW Keanu is awesome and I wish to see him in more stuff, dude deserves to be successful.

I hadn't seen the first one, but it was relatively easy to get into this movie. Liked it. Thought Keanu was perfect for the role. The scenes were brutal but not gratuitously so. Don't find Common believable in anything he does, though.

The first one held up for 3/4 then tried to hit every social checkpoint it could before the ending credits.

You'll have to explain that one.

Not every movie needs to be a Casablanca or Citizen Kane.

Just enjoy the action, old man. The other stuff can easily be tuned out.

I haven't seen it since it was in the theater. Seriously, give me an example or something. Give me an "oh yeah" moment. (bend over...)

I suppose not. With Magic and Kobe at the helm, I wouldn't be either.

Agree. I like Common as a person (from what I've seen) but I can't stand his acting. The entire time I'm thinking "why am I watching Common and how did he become an actor"

Movie was really enjoyable. Just beautifully filmed, ridiculous choreography & a reasonable story/world building. Love how Wick holds his gun too. Subtle thing by Keanu that I love.

Common was good in Run All Night, Smokin Aces and Street Kings. I think he plays a good villain........ At least IMHO. *shrugs*

All I've seen him trying to be is an assassin, a cowboy and a basketball player. Maybe his other roles suit him better.

Yeah, I agree he works best in villain, assassin roles.

Good popcorn flick that is stupidly enjoyable, my only problem is that John Wick is well-nigh indestructible which means the element of threat simply isnt there.

They have the nerve to make him grunt as if he feels anything.

Its a set piece of the same scene for two long hours, if you enjoy movies like it, then more
power to you, tbh.

Bruce Lee gained his stardom by refusing to make movies where he loses a fight. He was indestructible. John Wick is as well, basically, but the fun is that others in the film don't realize it until it's too late.

Both of these movies are fucking great. Saw this one this weekend with my wife. Did y'all know he is 52 now? That's crazy how good of shape he is in for 52 tbh. Like others have said I think a trilogy would work well here

I don't know why I kept putting this one off. Loved the first one. More of the same here. I probably liked it a little less because it wasn't quite as novel.
Perfect role for Reeves. Minimal lines.

Looking forward to the third.
