View Full Version : Kyle - is he the worst Anderson?

And does each subsequent Anderson get worse? IDK.

1987 Cadillac Anderson
1988 Willie Anderson
2000 Derek Anderson
2010 James Anderson
2014 Kyle Anderson

* I didn't include someone named Michael Anderson (1989) because I have no idea who he was and it looks like he wasn't on the roster a full year.

Better than James. I don't remember Cadillac, but Willie was definitely better than Kyle currently is.

Easily. The guy sucks and has no potential.

He's shooting 34.6% on jump shots. So if he's not getting easy layups he's absolutely useless.

James and Kyle are both Eunuchs, tough condition to overcome

You'd seriously ask this question when James couldn't even get his first option picked up?

Eh. He got hurt. And he wasn't fortunate enough to play for senile Pop.

And he was the best Oden the Blazer's ever had.

The worst too.

I like to focus on the positives.

Surely there must be some way to combine these two very timely and relevant threads? It just feels wrong that Peabo Bryson and James Anderson aren't in the same conversation.

Everyone gets it but it's clear that Lionel Richie > Billy Ocean > Peabo Bryson. It doesn't take away from Peabo. He's just not at the same level.

I guess I could start a new thread. But no one seemed to appreciate the Great Phoenix.

I resigned myself to the understanding that SpursTalk just isn't ready for deeper thoughts.
However, if somehow...by some miracle...TP finds the fountain of youth and carries the team to another ring? I will be bumping that thread as well as taking credit for inspiring him.

James Anderson was the better player and athlete, injuries just killed his career before it ever had a chance.

Willie and Derek were the only "good" Andersons. But Willie had an eh career bc he couldn't shoot and Derek had one good year with the Spurs that ended with an injury. Cadillac wouldn't roster in today's NBA.
