What's worse, missing the playoffs in LA or in New Orleans?

I could see Boogie being in Cleveland. Teams stack now, moot trades are moot.

He has the most assets to give away but i doubt he'd part with the Nets pick. I personally would since I don't see any prospects in this draft with the ceiling Cousins has.

He'd be dumb not to. Boogie/Horford/Thomas could compete with the LeCavs right now. Plus Cs have a bench. Hope he feels the way you do and don't pull the trigger :lol

Edited my post since I wasn't clear at first....I think he should give the pick away for Cousins, just doubt he will since it's some sort of unwritten rule to not trade top 3 picks.

He should also include Horford in any trade for Boogie, that flat footed Dominican piece of shit is useless.

Cousins/Cauley-Stein for Horford/Nets Pick/fodder would be an amazing haul for the Celtics.

The Lakers did just hire AIDS. I guess it would make sense if they traded for cancer.

Especially since the best prospects in the draft are point guards and that's the one position they're pretty set at.

Ainge could probably get Cousins for the Nets pick, Amir Johnson, and Marcus Smart. Sacramento isn't going to get a better offer than that since Johnson has an expiring contract. It would take the Celtics out of the Blake Griffin sweepstakes, but I'd rather have Cousins anyways. I'd love to see him with a stable franchise and coach.

The problem with the Celtics is that Ainge overrates his players and won't make a decent offer.

He doesn't need to offer anything substantial beyond that pick. It's the best offer Sacramento is likely to get. Top 3 pick in a really strong draft and Amir Johnson's salary is expiring so they take on no money long term.

He should unload Boozer I mean Horford in the trade if he can.

Horford simply isn't the type of player you see on a championship team in the modern NBA. Short and unathletic power forwards who get tons of hustle points during the regular season but become a lot less productive in the playoffs when everyone else is trying as hard as they are.

I would give the same assessment to Millsap and Al Jefferson.

Dumping him would be nice to keep salary cap space open to land Blake Griffin in the summer, but no way the Kings would want Horford. That's exactly the kind of long term money they should be avoiding.

By contrast, if the Kings want a tall PF who almost never gets hustle points, the Spurs could send them Aldridge.

I could see a scenario where Aldridge is a major piece on a championship team, could never see it with Horford.

200m for cousins when kings don't look like they are competing for a playoff spot...

makes no sense for kings owner to open his wallet....unless he intends to hold onto him as a trade asset down the line, but wtf is going to touch cousins new contract if he does sign for 200m

same thing with that other turd on the pacers pg who is also up for a new contract 200m also

Aldridge is as soft as Horford. The main difference is that LaMarsha has always been softer than Charmin whereas Horford only became a pussy after multiple pectoral muscle tears.

Celtics are a problem because the Kings let Thomas go because Boogie hated him. Not sure Boogie and the newly anointed Gawd-like Thomas will be any better.

Pelicans are weird. I suppose they could trade Jrue in the deal, but Hield? How many 1sts we talking?

I don't understand how packages from LA or Phoenix aren't better. No, Suns won't give Booker or Bender or Bledsoe, and the Lakers won't give Ingram, but from young assets from LA or 1sts plus a player like Len or Warren from Phoenix sound much better than the discussed New Orleans offers.
