Pop is basically Jerry Sloan 2.0 at this point and R.C Buford is a garbage GM. This team had no chance of pulling off a trade because for the upteenth year in a row, the Spurs had no assets.

And them we trade or second rounder for for a 33 year old euro who won't ever come over. Lack of assets
Then we can't have second rounders because we have 13 old guys we keep around.

The Spurs lose an all time great and still have the 2nd best record in the NBA. Fanbase should have no reason to complain.

In the past 20 years, Spurs went from playoff pretenders to the 4th winningest franchise in NBA history.
I don't agree that the Spurs are done...but if they are, I'd say it's been a pretty good run.
