Malice at the Palace really changed everything, tbh... also didn't remember Artest pussying out on Ben Wallace like that :lol

:lol I've never understood why people want NBA or MLB fights or any sport other than hockey and football..not just because basketball isn't a fighting sport, but also because 99.5% of the players in league history don't know how to fight(and the guys who know how to fight probably wouldn't, since there's a moral code with trained fighters)..it's like watching 2 giant 12-year olds..

I actually remember him doing that.

Acting tough, and then getting scared because he realized it was big Ben Wallace in front of him.

A-hole vented all his frustrations on the fans instead.

Um, no. He was actually trying to get away from the situation by laying on the scorer's table while Wallace chimped out because he got :cry fouled hard :cry. Then the fans got involved and started throwing things at him. It was a pathetic display from them.

It changed players willingness to retaliate, especially in the playoffs. It's why Draymond keeps kicking people in the nuts and nobody does anything about it. Makes it worse when the NBA tries to keep turning a blind eye too.

All it takes to put an end to his shit if for someone to step up and punch him in the face when he does that, suspension / fine be damned. Better to do it in the regular season than wait for the playoffs.

Sure...but laying down on the scorer's table is a pretty damn odd thing to do. Fans were out of line but Artest was up in the stands in a split second. Knew he couldn't deal with Wallace so might as well keep it real and go after a fan.
