So, this is an Italian flick. Based on the Comorra syndicate. Some of the plot is a little hard to understand if you're not familiar with the politics. But it doesn't take much away from the movie.
Scorsese liked it enough to add his name as a producer. Combines 3 or 4 separate story lines. Gritty stuff. If you don't mind watching subtitles, it's a great watch. For an American, it's not preachy at all but after
watching the closing credits, my guess is that it was made to make people aware. Supposedly, this syndicate is responsible for transporting the most drugs per year. Who knows. Good movie though.
