View Full Version : Kawhi will be a 25-5-5 guy next year

Maybe even in the playoffs. His playmaking was a little underrated to begin with, but I think he has been low-key taking that next step these past few weeks. Generating a bunch of good looks and is clearly a willing passer, unlike a certain PG on the team, imho.

He's getting doubled flash... and becoming a much better passer out of those situations with experience.

I believe so too.....and he'll be the only one with 2 steals a game.

:lol OP can't even do a thread praising Kawhi without taking a shot at Parker.

I love you bruh, but Parker is living rent free in your head.

Yeah, he's playmaking at the post is fantastic. But he's probably going to up his scoring again.

Kawhi seems like a guy that would want tp score 30 a season for at least once.

That play drawing two guys in the post and finding Pau... :toast

He could break his leg this postseason and miss all of next season tbh. Useless prediction is useless tbh.

Yeah, but will he get his team out of the second round of the playoffs.

5 assists per game will need him to improve quite a bit more. he hasn't really been there even at his best months

He's never had a triple-double, has he?

If Manu retires and Mills walks, imagine he adds to his assist total by default.

Ooooh, what a stretch! He's gonna improve from 25-5-3 to 25-5-5, huh? Way to go out on a limb there. Don't get too ambitious now.

He could be a fucking 30-8-5 guy when he peaks.

this off-season he should watch Lebron Lebron Lebron vids ... the he should get there if he absorbs that as easy as getting to the foul line more

Danny hits the open shots kawhi gets him he'd be there already.

he makes the right passes, it's just that over half of the season Danny Green and Mills haven't been able to hit shit wide open. That's the problem. To get assists, players must be able to hit shots

2nd round exit until the Spurs draft another Duncan to hold his hand.

Agreed, he hasn't been hitting the boards as hard as he did early in his career. I'm perfectly okay with that since now we have bigs who actually know how to rebound, and we can't count on Kawhi to do EVERYTHING. He's already having to defend the best players, be the leading scorer, and now looking to add playmaking to his game.

25-5-5 sounds a lot like Threads last gasps when he was defending Kobe. If the 25-5-5 get us to the promised land, hell yeah. But I'd be perfectly fine with lower stats in the RS and an extra gear (or two) for the playoffs.

25-5-5 isn't an eye popping statline for a superstar player. What kind of prediction is this anyway?

That would be like me saying "I predict Shaq will score 25 ppg and 11 rpg" at any point in the early 2000's.

Stat against the Cavs included exactly 25 (would have been more for sure but he missed 7 3s tonight... if not he would have exceeded the 30 pt mark). Anyways, he added 6 boards, 6 assits, 3 steals, 1 block

it would be harder for Leonard to get more rebounds per game than he already does becuase he also face gaurds his opponent when they don't have the ball. He doesn't stat pad. His main objective is to shut his man down. They don't drive past him too much but many times they are forced into jumpers. . It's kinda hard for him to guard a man shooting a 3(the standard of today's nba) and then get the missed rebound. Westbrooke will give up an open 3 to get a rebound and stat pad.
