:lol

It sounds pretty awesome Pete, but I'm too poor to throw 50 bucks away without even a small chance at winning them back.

Due to rules and regulations by the State of Texas, there can not be a prize of monetary value attached to the results of the tournament.

On that note I'll pass - but best of luck.

I agree with that, maybe if it was 20 bucks I would try

Guys think of it as charity. You give to charity every year don't you? Why not play poker while donating to a good cause?

If I drive to SA, can I play?

It would be awesome to have a Houston resident win the first SA City Championship. :fro

I could maybe get 50 bucks, but to have to pay for Beer also? That is more than I can pay.

Why can't 5.00 dollars from every 50 go to buying a party keg?

Yes. Does stink about the rules about not being able to give a way prizes, but we have had a large response and this has only been online for a few hours.

It's a great cause, and it's also a dry run so that we can throw larger events in the future.
