Like it or not, it's the sportswriters who vote for the award, and they are giving it to Harden or Westbrook. Or to both as Co-MVP's. Well, Beverly is arguably the best defensive PG in the game and he compliments that with being a 40% 3pt shooter, and none of this "40% on half an attempt per game" bullshit. At his best, he can be, but that one is more about context. Green is more well rounded, better in his role and has superior advanced stats, but he could never be a go to guy, let alone on a 50+ win team, like Aldridge was. There's no such qualifiers needed in Aldridge vs Thompson.
