Also in 2015 the seeding allowed a 51 win Portland team to get a 4 seed while Spurs at 55 wins were 6th.

It would've been Spurs vs Grizz if today's 1-8 seeding existed.

Would've been Spurs vs Mem in 2015, 2016, and now probably 2017 in the 1st round.

Another fun fact - Spurs losing a series was behind the reason the NBA altered playoff seedings - 2006 and 2015.
