Lol... Only an idiot would think they'd actually make it. Houston will sweep their ass, if the Grizzlies don't do it first.

It's a coin toss between them and Houston.

I would say yes.

They could easily flame out in the 2nd round TBH. Too much dead weight on this team.

Claro que si!

No way. Second round loss for sure.

I think they do, but only to lose 4-1 or 4-2 if we're lucky

We'll beat Houston in 6/7 imo

Who knows. Bottom line -- the Spurs need to address the PG position.

Lou Williams will send Manure to retirement. Gonna take him out back and put him out

But why do you even watch this team? Or post on this fucking forum, for that matter?

Looking at the rest of the field, I think they have a good shot, tbh... that's if Pop doesn't start resting people and we fall to third...

If Kawhi finds his shot WCF, if Kawhi can't get his shot back though we are probably going to see a 2nd round exit. Pop should have been playing Murray more, its evident we will need him to contribute. Paddy is to small and Parker is borderline worthless. Our guard rotation is utter trash.

Honestly main reason I see WCF is the west is pretty weak this year. The league is pretty weak in general though if we are being honest.

Fully healthy they can but Kawhi also needs to be in rhythm. They should be the favorite over Houston but if injuries occur or players don't show up, Spurs can lose in the 2nd round again.

Regardless I'm looking forward to a San Antonio Houston playoff series.

It's been 22 years since the last (only?) one and as someone who remembers that 1995 WCF I badly want to see us even up the record.

It'll be a helluva series, possibly the most entertaining of all.

It would be pretty sad if they can't beat Houston in the playoffs, tbh:lol

You can believe your team is shit and still be a fan.

Not sure why it would be sad? :lol

Season series was a toss up 4 games with 3 going our way..Both teams have more or less similar Net-rating. They have probably higher potential gear (offensively) than we we do with our largely methodical style (midrange/ISO/Postup etc..) in a less convenient era of basketball..

To add, this is 2017 Pop not 2007 Pop going up against MDA..

Easily. The Spurs own Houston and the Grizzlies is a joke once you start gameplanning.

In the Words of Kawhi Leonard.."There isn't much gameplanning in the regular season" :lol

What's Harlem really saying is that it would be sad if LMA can't dominate Nene/Capella, which should be a go-to matchup to exploit... and he's right, IMO... :lol

I think they will this season.
I am not blind. I see the same faults everyone sees, but I am optimistic one game does not determine their ultimate fate just like the season opener didn't.
They have a good chance. Kawhi has to play at an MVP level though...
and some guys who are inconsistent (or washed up) need to do their best to hit shots when they have them.

Regardless, losing to a team with Trevor Ariza(the SF version of Danny Green) as its 2nd best player in the playoffs in a star-driven league would be sad:lol

Exactly . . . and unless Aldridge re-emerges as such, this is a 1 star team too.

It's a tossup series and outside of health, whether Parker looks like a competent player probably decides it. If he's at least something close to the December version, Spurs probably win. If he's around what he's mostly been outside of that, they probably lose.

They have to get a better PG and bring Parker off the bench, upgrade this roster. I'd say they have a shot at the WCF, but if your thinking NBA Finals, your setting yourself up for huge disappointment. If the Warriors are playing like this without Durant, sh*t.

If I was a betting man I'd say round 2 exit by the Rockettes after being taken to 6 or 7 by Memphis/OKC in the first round.

BTW GS has a cake walk to the Finals this year: 1st round against Portland (the Nurkic'es), 2nd round sweep against the Jazz (the Antentonkoupopolis'es) and first real opponent in WCF, the Rockettes (6 games, with Houston taking both home games and Harden shooting 50 FTs). Then the rematch and revenge series against Cleveland with Da Real MVP shitting all over LeRoids

I'm going to predict a 1st round exit for the Spurs. That way if I'm wrong I can say I'm happy to be wrong but if I'm right I can say I knew it all along.

I'll use the same strategy for the following rounds. If I'm happily wrong about the 1st round that is.
