DISCLAIMER DISCLAIMER!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT A POPOVICH HATE THREAD!!!!

What I mean by that is, do you think the management will eventually get tired of 1st and 2nd round exits with the talent we have and Popovich's overcoaching and finally ask him to resign?(I can't see them firing him. That's not a good look). After he resigns, whomever comes in won't be as experienced as him but they just let the guys run without over coaching or over resting and we start to win titles and just look unstoppable? I think a large part of Kerr's success has to do with him just not being a great X and O guy. He just lets them run basically. Shit, look what Walton did.

No. The franchise will never fire Pop.

I'm fine with that. Most times it seems he lost his fire, I guess this team deserves a better effort from the coaching staff but I respect the Spurs want Pop to retire in SA

No, the Spurs will not force out one of the greatest coaches in sports.

Would they also need to draft 3 more all stars?

Maybe we can send Pop to Dallas for Carlisle and a first-round pick.

Would be an interesting parallel with what happened 30 years ago with Tom Landry.
