Exactly.
While 3-1 to Cavs gets talked about, let's remember OKCs complete choke which allowed Golden to advance.

Ya they are unbeatable.

This team is a nightmare when Durant is on the floor. Simply if you double Durant they have such great shooters and smart players it's hard to stop them. No team is unbeatable but without Durant they are beatable. These playoffs will prove if they are beatable with Durant. Kerr is a great coach but he is annoying as hell to watch now, he thinks he is the greatest coach ever with that death lineup, lol. Still the style of basketball they play it's still live by the 3 and die by the 3. If they get beat it will be a huge upset for sure. Only the Cavs and the Spurs have a shot imo. Anyway it's not worth losing any sleep over, Durant knew fully well what he was doing when he signed with them and how it would stick it to all other NBA teams with the amount of player depth they have. For that I'd like to see them get beat for sure as would pretty much every other NBA fan that isn't from San Francisco.

NBA is too soft these days. Dubs are full of soft sensitive fairies. Put them on their ass a couple of times and they'll fold like a lawn chair.

Big Shot Rob isn't here anymore. Who else would do it? Perhaps David Lee?

So how long is their window? How many rings can they win?
Factoring in Curry is going to want to get paid, Klay is going to want to get paid, Green is going to want to get paid, others are going to come and go, etc.

I am not saying that the Spurs don't have a chance this year but... realistically speaking... these Dubs are a really good team. They deserve a good punch in the mouth but it doesn't change the fact that they are good.

Keepin' it real

True, but the Spurs are kind of soft too. I understand pop's anti-swagger approach (no need to give the opponent extra motivation), but it also has a downside because the Spurs have a tendency to become very rote. The Spurs are at their best when they impose their physicality on the opponent. And that style benefits from playing with emotion. Pop needs to let guys like Simmons and Dedmon talk shit, and encourage that from other players.

THIS^^^^^^because all teams 'respect' the Spurs but very few if any fear the Spurs and sometimes a healthy dose of fear can win you games where pure talent and execution cannot. The Dubs are better than the Clips but they are not THAT much better, they are in their heads. So the Dubs get some easy wins against the Clips where they (the Clips) just lay down instead of having to fight it out with a moderately talented team.

Those pesky Greeks could never defeat the Persians...

Those Colonials could never resist the British...

Upset has no chance against Man O' War....

Clay won't last two rounds vs. Liston...

The Jets have no prayer against the Colts....

American hockey could never defeat the Soviet Union...

The Cavs could never beat a 73 win Super team....

I'd love to see this Warriors team play a physically tolling game against the prime Bad Boy Pistons with Thomas, Laimbeer, Rodman, Dumars. They were such a physical and tall team, they literally beat up the upcoming Bulls team with MJ, Pip. To bad you can't lay a finger on a player in todays NBA without getting tossed the NBA has become so soft that the Warriors are a dominant team when they shouldn't be they don't let you even touch a player anymore. This Warriors team thrives off of the shooters because they know they can get that shot every time down the floor (can't touch them literally) and Durant commands a double team so it gets messy.

Who's going to beat them this year? The Thunder are shit, the Cavs look a full echelon off from their title run, and there's no other elite teams besides us, and we just lost to them without Durant.

So.... who's taking out the Dubs? Spurs and Houston are the only ones that have a remote chance unless the Cavs somehow find a way to not suck.

Mentally weak group of unproven pussies. They still haven't recovered from last June. It'll show again in the playoffs. It's easy to hide that shit in the regular season. The playoffs always resurface those demons among all the other things.

Warriors are an insane, probably the best ever regular season team. During the regular season, teams kinda just play their game and their defensive strategy with some jingling from game to game depending on the team. But the Warriors play a totally different style of offense, when you have shooters that will hit it at the logo. It is difficult to adjust from flying around the country, going against other good pg's like C.Paul, or great shooters like Redick, then all of a sudden you have Curry and Klay shooting a few feet in front of the mid court, and Draymond sitting screens out there too. One small laps here and there, and your down.

When playoffs start, all the scouting throughout the season gets looked at under a microscope and all the coaches get to together with all the video evidence from the video analysis to form the best strategy. Then you get a few days to practice those strategies. You’re mentally preparing each rotational player that, hey you need to guard Curry out there and the second defender needs to show on the pick.
