The most disgusting and egotistical move i've seen in years. Wouldn't surprise me if the Uunited state controls fifa now after the Blatter incident and is pulling the strings behind the curtain though. Easily the most bloodthirsty, war mongering, resource grabbing dictator in thr last 300 years.

Can you imagine going to 2026 only to find your team get bounced in 2 games...

With only two games, there's even more incentive to just flat out bunker.

Also, The South American, Afircan, Asian Qualifiers are some of the most active, viewed and just generally exciting qualifiers. After the continetal cups that happen like once every 4 or 2 years....There is no more decent international competition.

This is basically death to the qualifiers.

it'll be great you virgin losers, a longer world cup means:
1. an easier schedule at work
2. more national football (where people actually care)
3. more trash talking
4. more trolling in international environments
5. more money for fifa
6. less corruption because all the shit will be live in front of 3+ billion people, and it will be harder to pull tricks.
7. we'll get loaded matches usa - china, china-japan, usa-russia, iran-saudi arabia, israel-egypt, north korea-south korea, northern ireland vs england, russia vs ukraine, turkey vs germany
8. better betting odds because the betting market will have to adjust to hordes of unexperienced fans

except we would lose all the quality and tense qualifiers..Germany almost always qualifies but the Qualifiers are tense competitive matches.


With the new format you basically have to wait 4 years just to watch decent competitive internarionall fotball smdh.
