Maker's Mark "46" Bourbon Whisky Review

Tasty stuff imho. It's a wheated bourbon so it's a bit on the sweet side. You can definitely taste a difference from traditional Maker's Mark. Biggest drawback is that it's overpriced.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this a solid 7.3 rating. Tasty and drinkable, but in Fabbs (http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/member.php?u=3662) case he may want to add his own cinnamon flavoring to give it the fagginess he craves in his whiskey.

Think it's still 90 proof, maybe a tad higher. IIRC, the reason this is a step up from normal Makers is because it's reintroduced to a new barrel and aged longer.

100 proof is my sweet spot. Most of the Bottled in Bond bourbons are really good and a fantastic value. That's what I love about straight American whiskeys, there are some great drinks on the bottom shelf. The standards are pretty high no matter how much it costs.
