We ain't scrubs,

But we over achieved in the West.

Should be 12 games worse easy.

This may be Pop's greatest coaching year..

Which is saying something...

With the Heat falling off, he has a legit chance at the CoY, even though this hasn't been one of his best years from my vantage point.

Its not like he was winning 60 games like cupcake before.

Kawhi Leonard and A few great supporting cast are really the main players. Spo was my pick and still is if the make the playoffs though.

Only the sixth best team Spurs team according to BBL reference SRS ..I think they have overachieved record wise, but not the extent of last year's team.

^^ to be fair the Thunder team we lost to was underrated all along last season..They are a better team than this Rockets one..Not making WCF would be a bigger failure this year, IMO..

Spurs have a solid team. MVP level player. Deep and versatile frontline. They just look weak when compared to stacked Golden State. And the inconsistent backcourt keeps opposing teams in games more than they ought to.

It's between Spo, Pringles, and the Cheerleader imo.

Recency syndrome. We were comparing this team to last year's 67 win squad and in every category came up short.

But we don't realize is the 2016 team were historically great.

This one is just very good, but easily better than anyone else in the league not named GS.

Because the league is weaker than it has ever been these last 20 years (that I following NBA).

As simple as that.

It' just that they don't "beat themselves", the Spurs keep going whatever happens and have an even keel attitude that allows them to take advantage of other teams when those ones loose control or have a bad period.

We are good, but not even top10 Spurs team of the last 20 years imo

Lots of garbage teams in the Association currently, tbh.

This. So much this.

We have had some great individual performances in the NBA this season, but the league as a whole is pretty shit right now in regards to great teams.

relax. Popovich threw the game. He wasn't trying to win. If you watched the game, and from your first post you obviously didn't, Leonard hardly played in the 2nd half. It was a game to see what our bench has going into the playoff and we all found out that Forbes is garbage

1. Leonard going Kobe mode in crunch time.
2. Lot of crappy teams

By 2020, there will be 2 all star type teams in the league, each conference, going to the Finals every year. Then all other players can get distributed among the other 28 teams.

Do it Silver! We know you want to.

Keepin' it real

watered down league, team willing to play defense and an MVP caliber player with solid role players who know their roles.

It's actually a pretty good fuckin' team. Underrated by its own fanbase.
