Everybody gets scored on. One play doesn't make you a good or bad defender. His body of work tonight was impressive. He made the difference by shutting down Conley.

He usually elevates his D in big games. Been noticeable against warriors cavs etc.. let's hope it continues!

It's funny how much the narrative has changed since his first year with the club. People used to say he was a choker.

You even used to say he was a better defender than Kawhi. :lol

Danny is a better defender than Kawhi, and it honestly isn't close

Nice to see him pick it up after a rough start. Also good to see Dedmon play some good minutes in the 2nd half. Hopefully that carries over.

If he hits shots this team will be awesome. As it is his defense is incredible.

All NBA D team, tbh..

Alltime, probably 2nd Best shot-blocking guard after D-Wade..

He's no longer D-league Danny

We're going to need him to get his 3-point rhythm back if we want to beat the Warriors. His D is undoubtedly incredible. He's first defensive team material tbh

Nah... D-Wade's shot blocking prowess is overrated... He relied on phenomenal "jump-out-of-the gym" athleticism... Danny relies on elite reflexes, instincts and timing... Danny is better. Who knows if the best ever at that position... but better than D-Wade for sure... Don't let Wade's per-game numbers fool you given his usage rate has been way higher than Danny's.

he was pretty awful the first quarter or so, but then more than made up for it. Especially starting the 3rd, when he shut down Conley

I don't really care about this series.

The Spurs will win this comfortobly.

I want to see Green in action against Golden State. That's where he earns his value and respect.

He's actually #1 in terms of block percentage for guys with at least 5k minutes played (some guys like KJ McDaniels are off charts in limited minutes. Keep in mind guys like MJ/Wade shouldered far greater offensive burden and not expected to be guy back on transitions D where Danny gets lots of his blocks:

Also, yet another indicator of how good Roberson is on defense. Let's see if a team throws money at him in hopes to fix his shot with All NBA caliber defense.

Lets hope he's holding back that hot streak for that series (we know how streaky he is, and why waste against Memphis?) and gets out of this slump. Even if he's not shooting well, he'll need to play huge minutes in that series. Pau's three point shooting and hopefully a more aggressive Parker from deep (even if he's at 35%, I'll take it) should also help the floor geometry.

Hopefully, he will find his shooting touch by the time we hit WCF, IF we get there. Won't survive that series without his at least average 3 pt shooting percentage in good volume, and also Kawhi's too.

Danny green good defense, no killer instinct and can't dribble. can only like him in small doses

Agree we really need to get a starting SG next year who can create and dribble and play some defense. I like Green but to me he is a one trick pony and we need some stallions after Timmy and Manu retire.
