It is extremely rare for #1 and #2 MVP candidates to play the same exact position AND play against each other in the same series.
And I believe this is the first time they ever do it before the award is (voted?) handed out!
Thunder is also not as far off from Rockets talent wise as their record indicates, if playoff referees nerfs Harden's calls a little bit, may be a closer series than anyone anticipated.
Imagine if Westbrook is already eliminated by the #2 candidate before he picks up the MVP trophy, wow . . .
And if Harden wins, Kwahi has a chance to be Hakeem in round two.
