Spurs center Nazr Mohammed wasn't in South Carolina for the team's preseason game against the Sixers on Wednesday. Mohammed flew hom to San Antonio on Wednesday morning to be with his wife, who delivered a baby boy, Nasir, the San Antonio Express-News reports.

Mohammed provided nice depth in the Spurs frontcourt last season and is expected to start at center over Rasho Nesterovic this season. With Rasho falling out of favor in San Antonio, keep an eye on Nazr this season. He doesn't have any fantasy value at this point, but has the potential to improve his scoring and rebounding to the point he could be a serviceable option at your center spot.
