Nets guard Jeff McInnis was back at practice Wednesday, but only as a spectator, according to the Star-Ledger. His strained back has improved, but he had to sit on a pile of towels just to get comfortable. "I woke up Sunday morning I couldn't even get out of the bed. They had to send an ambulance to get me," the point guard said. "I didn't know what was going on. It scared me. I couldn't even walk yesterday. Today it's a lot better."

An ambulance? Did he have a strained back or a heart attack? Once McInnis is healthy, he'll be Jason Kidd's primary backup. However, if his back keeps giving him problems, Zoran Planinic will log some minutes. Either way, as long as Jason Kidd is healthy, both players have little fantasy value.
