who else likes angry LA? it seems as if angry LA is the one that grabs every rebound, takes it to the basket for and 1s...and dunks on fools...he needs to play angry all the time...i dont like the calm, smiling, aldridge...that aldridge allows himself to be pushed out of the post

Basically this. I liked him being aggressive instead of letting Zbo push him out to post up in the 3pt line.

I hope he stays "angry".

Portland LaMarcus - can we see that version?

He got angry because Mark pushed him in the back and no foul was called. LMA ran down the court and shoved the shit out of him, nothing was called. LMA did it again on the other end. He was pissed.

We'll get angry Lamarcus against Golden State. Donkey Green's cockiness is at an all time high, LMA will go in raw on that mouth breather

According to Legler, LMA is angry at his role. (Though frustrated is,probably more, accurate.)

Honestly Grizzlies are a bad match up for him offensively IIRC he struggled against them with Portland as well. I think he'll do fine against the remaining playoff teams.

They have to troll a little bit to get the attention, with some snazzy comments.

It's tough to tell what Lamarcus really thinks, bc as Legler said, he's not really the kind of guy to come in with Rondo/Wade/Butler even Pau-type statements. I think guys here would say he's very vanilla and cliche with his comments. I think it's telling he backed out of the leadership role. It clearly is Kawhi, but so many interviews are given by Pau, Tony, and Manu, and obviously Kawhi although he would rather not.. so it's really difficult to tell for me if he's disgruntled or not, but he's been letting others lead and taking a backseat. He also has struggled at times through the season and made some comments about the ASG to the effect that he didn't care, but I think he did bc his remark that SA should have had at least 2, when implicitly and without saying so, he thought he should be that 2.

One of the most mentally week players, he's afraid of tough guy presence like Zbo and Draymond..

More like extremely agitated Aldridge.

He doesn't angry. It's not in him.

Agree with this, I can understand if LMA wants to matter more on offense, but this wasn't his matchup for his spot up jumper...he tried and failed in first two games, he was only relevant in the series when he got aggressive and went to the rim....he may not like that because it's not his strength, but he needs to be a big boy...that was the matchup, they're going to take you out of your sweet spot with their physical bigs.

That's the only beef I have with LMA, just seems like he's not happy if things are just not easy (and the way he expects). Great player, but i think his ultimate problem is that his game doesn't have enough dimensions...but it's good to see him grow some of that with his push more towards the rim this season.

one of the reporters was pretty blunt in asking him about this exact thing in the post game interview
