Well, if he wants help, he has a choice to make. No issues with players taking their money and if anyone is worth max, he's one of those guys. Just don't want the excuses about lack of a team afterwards. Can't have it both ways.

Word. Take it if you are content triple doubling the hell out of the reg season but bowing out in the 1st round of the playoffs every year.

Take the money and run.

There's no assurance your GM will spend any money left on the table wisely.
Just see the contract Deng and Mozgov got last year only to end up with a consecutive DNP-CD last half of the year.

The way the league is structured only a handful, and I mean 3 or 4 tops, will have a shot for the title.
Take the money and triple dub until they start calling it by your name.

Hmmm, so he can take a pay cut and get "better" players so he can make it to the 2nd round and then get eliminated or he can cash in now. The 2nd round elimination is overrated...take the money. We all know WB as the main cog isn't a recipe for a championship, so why not take the money?

Moment of truth for mister "best rebounder of the team".

Westbrook should go to the Lakers. They love that heroballing shit and will overpay the fuck out of him to do it. He can then complain about his teammates, without any reprisal.

Do it Mit... errr..whomever.

Ummm, why does it have to be the first move of the off-season when he signed an extension last summer?

Ass backward thinking from the front office. Ass backward thinking of the most overrated, soon-to-be MVP ever if he is worried about his contract extension before wondering why he is accepting the award in his faggot street clothes instead of in pre-game warmups.
