Gonna say, same as last year but actually a competitive one--not a fake 6-game series as in last season's East Finals.

Cavs in 6 again, with no doubt who'll win the series but Toronto finding a way to take two regardless.

Cavs in 5. Craptors just suck. Bucks would have been a much better challenge.

Cavs aren't that great, Raptors are just worse.

Cavs in 6, because the Cavs are bound for a couple of brain farts.

Raptors will go up big and choke away in at least one game.

My prediction is close to yours: Cavs in 5, with the Raptors having a 15-point lead in three games. They'll blow two of them and barely hang on by 1 point in the third.

Would be ecstatic if Toronto can push this to 6 games.

Thought raptors would get back in game quickly. Soon as Love and JR get back in lead goes right up though. If JR is making shots it's damn tough to beat Cavs. Love looking super confident too

Really insane how many players the Cavs have that could easily make 5 or more 3's in a game

Lowry looks like non playoff Lowry. Great sign for Raptors this series

Robz4000
05-01-2017, 07:01 PM
:lmao Raptors were down by 5 points with 2 mins to go in the half and are now down by 17 with 36 seconds to go

D-Wade
05-01-2017, 07:02 PM
It seems like Lowry and DeRozan can never both play well in the same game. Raps could actually be a real threat if they did.

damn comeback completely wasted. Derozen and Patterson hurting their ability to stay in game so far

its funny how sometimes the Raptors will have overall advantage with matchups on the court, but it just doesn't matter because LeBron James

That's how it is with 95% of teams in the league tbh. Only teams it seemingly doesn't matter for are the Spurs and, to a lesser extent, the Dubs.

LBJ with really nice block on Derozen followed by the James Harden esque bs foul and throw up a shot for ft's. Nice sequence

Raptors making run. Come on Raps make this entertaining

fuck lbj with timely 3. Derozen's midrange just completely off damn

Lowry trying to play hero ball now shits over

Robz4000

Toronto just has no hope of stopping Cleveland's offense, which makes Cleveland's defensive issues meaningless; Toronto will never be able to outscore them.

pretty much. Kinda need one of those efficient heroic 30/40 point performances from Derozen or Lowry just to stay in game

On an another level, this is why Durbeta decision to bolt to the Warriors is an all-time pathetic move. He could have gone to Boston/Wizards which would have injected some interest in this snooze-fest otherwise known as the East PLAYOFFS

Almost wish for this faggot to be on the shelf with an injury in the Finals while the Dubs go on and ring-- just to witness his embarrassment and the complete destruction of his legacy.

so true. He hurt the entertainment of the playoffs so much with his chickenshit move

at same time I'd much rather be in Cali than Boston or D.C., too. If that factored largely into his decision kinda hard to blame him :lol

Man the situation in the East is such a joke. What an incredible advantage for whichever team happens to have LBJ at the time. I'm a fan, too...but it's like two completely different leagues. Must be kind of annoying for elite teams in the West to have to play such an untested/unscathed team every year in the Finals.

He's already the best player by a wide margin, and then he gets to be "challenged" by the Raptors and Celtics to make it to the Finals.

It's no wonder he's going to own basically every playoff record ever recorded. At any rate LBJ is absolutely beasting in this postseason...respect even if the comp isn't even close to true contenders.

If LBJ is making outside shots at this rate, there isn't a team in league that can compete

his shot is just as likely to be broken in future rounds, though

I called Cavs in 4 before the series. Toronto is such an easy matchup for them and I'm being proven right, AGAIN. Milwaukee would have been a real challenge, along with Miami and Chicago instead of Indiana. Cleveland/LeBron always draws the easiest matchups. Fuck.

get Fizdale up on that podium. Somethings just GOTTA be said! Couldn't be because lbj is constantly actually fouled and the Raptors suck

Bucks would've gotten swept, don't be an idiot. They're offensively inept and when the Craptors sagged off on Giannis the series was over.

05-04-2017, 12:25 PM
:lol why are people discussing the Bucks, tbh? If Casey wasn't a horrible coach that took 2 games to make obvious adjustments that everybody in Toronto was asking for(like giving your 2nd best wing player some playing time:lol ), the Raptors would have swept them..their halfcourt offense is horrendous..

Hard to survive in this league without the ability to explode offensively. Only Warriors, Rockets and Cavs have the players to go from down 8 to up 10 in 4-5 minutes.
