View Full Version : Who is the next Manu?

UZER

I'm on the Manu is done bandwagon and should've retired last year. With that said...

All you ever hear is next LeBron, next Jordan blah blah blah. Sure Manu was never on that level, but he was such a unique game changing player.

Who would you consider most like him? Is there nobody out there?

LaMarcus Bryant

Agree there will probably never be a guy so polarizing in NBa ever

A toda madre o un desmadre

Usually guys like this only last a couple seasons

This guy was lucky he was latino in san antonio and had Duncan and Parker tbqh

I love the guy and love players like this. But lets be honest. He would have gone back to Guatemala league if not for the spurs

Of the Argentine players i think, character wise, Campazzo is right in the middle between Manu and Nocioni, he might be able to replicate some of the Manu effect, but i am not sure what his NBA ceiling might be. He might end up a 10-15 minute guy, a consistent role player or a bust. I donīt think heīll ever become near All-Star level.

I'm seeing some pretty sick passes from Kawhi. Also, Kawhi has the ball in his hands to close quarters. Torch has been passed.

Kawhi is head and shoulders better than Manu. He's not as crafty as Manu but Manu was never the defender Kawhi is, and though Manu had some good scoring nights, he's never been relied upon to carry the offense for extended periods of games.

Manu is a future HOFer, but KL's trajectory is much steeper.

:lmao way off

Messi is more like Kobe. An overhyped near Goat that cant win without a stacked team

Manu is more like Tevez. Nigga brings the energy and hustle everytime.

Off the bench momentum changing, closer and capable to take over a game (in his prime)... I'm not sure there is another. Harden 6th man role Circa OKC days? yet that Harden version never rang...

Manu has/had a competitive drive to win that very few players could equal. Sometimes it backfired because he's always trying to thread the needle. But that spirit is contagious and makes things happen on the court. Patrick Beverly has that same intensity, but he's not a skilled player. You never know he might get his body together and have a few good games left.

Yeah because Harden never had decent teammates. Manu beat Tim in the Olympics, lest you forget. What did Harden do?

"3 years ago" yet says "would have 10 rings"

Uneducated takes per usual

Learn to read brah. I said "surpassed Manu at all facets 3 years ago" he surpassed Manu on many facets 6 years ago and matched Manu 9 years ago. With this year makes 9 rings and Duncan already had one which makes 10. Please try to educate yourself

Harden is a much worse defender too, tbh...

There doesn't need to be a next Manu... these Spurs can certainly use a gutsy guard that can dribble the ball and take it to the rack... hopefully Dijon is that guy in a couple years...

No, faggot, you said "every single aspect". If he passed him in every single aspect 3 years ago, then prior to that he had not passed him, so he would be worse in every single aspect.

If Harden is good enough to have won Tim 10 rings, then he's better than Parker, yet you say Parker is one of the greatest PGs of his generation. Does that mean Tim wasn't that good because he had a great PG? Or does it mean the PG wasn't that good because he had Tim?

I don't think you know whether to shit or go blind. You just make baseless contradictory statement, sprinkle a few emojis in and pretend you had a take.

You're uneducated, and naive, and desperate for attention.

Lmao you gotta be the stupidest son of a bitch in here :lol what part of EVERY aspect dont u understand?? If someone is better than you in many aspects but not all he is still better than you.

6 years ago he had passed him in many aspects. Not all but many. He was better than manu 6 years ago.

Hardon is better than parker on some aspects. Not all. Parker is better than Hardon on some aspects. Id say neither is better than the other. But this thread is about Manu so its retarded to bring Parker to the conversation. I said "supplant Manu with Hardon" I didnt mention the rest of the team. Please dont be a moron

So, retard. My statement stands. Replace Manu with Hardon and Duncan has 10 rings.

Hardon surpassed Manu in all aspects 3 years ago. Hardon surpassed Manu in many aspects 6 years ago.

Statements stand.

Now go back to bumping your retarded Manu will play well again thread :lmao

Btw my prediction in your retarded thread is still holding true. Manu dissapeared again after scoring a miserable 10 pts :lmao

Same kind of idiots wanted McGrady over Manu and Kidd over Parker.
Spurs players can only be compared to others in terms of success and not stats because Pop is a "fuck your stats" coach.
And our big 3 tops all of the competition in "wanting to win".
If Harden was here instead of Manu the team would have blown out in three years.
