-20 seasons
-A chance to have beaten every WC team in the playoffs
-A chance at 6
-Would have moved to 13th on all-time RS scoring list (passing Gervin, Dominique, Oscar, & Hakeem)
-Would have moved to 5th on all-time playoff scoring list (passing Shaq)
-Continued to pull away as winningest trio of all-time
-Upped his winning percentage even more

It was hard enough watching TD struggle through last season. No thank you.

I hate seeing the greats stick around longer than they should. David Robinson ended his career the best out of any of the premier athletes that I've ever seen, but his was the fairy tale ending that most superstars can only dream about.

I would have loved to have seen Timmy in uniform one more season as well, but he knew it was over, and knew when to hang 'em up. I was glad for him. I remember after the '07 championship thinking that might be his last one because he'd already looked like he'd lost a step at that point, but he re-engineered himself and stuck around almost another decade. Pretty remarkable stuff.
