Just way way too soft, can't rely on a big man whose best weapon are fade away jumper 20 feet from the basket.

Just play Kyle Anderson at the four. At least he'd give up less threes on the defensive end while being equally worthless offensively.

Spurs got taken. He's arguably one of the softest bigs in the NBA. Kinda makes me nostalgic for an injury-prone Splitter. Fuck that, even Baynes would be better than LMA at this point.

Fuck this offense.

Aldridge and Gasol are the worst thing to ever happen to the Spurs. Two older big guys who shoot long 2's, can't play a lick of D, and can't pass the ball or make other players around them better.

Watching our offense is like torture. Danny Green hasn't seen an open 3 in 2 years. Our guys don't even try to move the ball anymore. It's impossible with the personnel we have. We used to have great passing bigs and wings. Whose the best passer on this team now? Ginobili? Dear God.

We used to be a fun team who moved the ball, and didn't rely on one player to do everything (Kawhi).

This is not Spurs basketball. It makes me sick just watching. It's just embarrassing.

Aldridge is one of the best defenders in the league. Yeah he's not an offensive star, but you're wrong on his defense. I think he's worth keeping around (for less than the max) for that reason alone.

If the Spurs want to compete for a championship, they need more than what Aldridge can give, apparently. A hobbled, gray Duncan was better. He's not the only lame on the team, of course, but he's paid too much for that garbage.

Yap . Right from the getgo Aldriges body language was wrong. Was passing up shots & content to watch. Didnt play with any fear but then again we've seen it too often from him.

LA had Anderson literally under the basket heaps . Didnt even try to seal him once.

Think what Dmc posted holds true. Hes happy watching Kawia instead of making things happen & giving the team an option on offense.

And he'll do it again if he sees a 3rd season with the Spurs. Of course the excuses were flooding in for him then. :cry buh he'll get into shape :cry he'll score 40 points on OKC again. Nah, this guy has been and will always be a loser. Harlem called it with the Carmelo Anthony comparison. A player who's never sniffed a championship much less a WCF and he's gonna come into an accomplished franchise under the Boris Diaw diet his first two seasons?! The day he's gone can't come sooner for the Spurs.

At one point in the thread someone suggested he needed to play with the bench guys in the 4th Q to feel the humiliation and I thought hell no. Those guys were playing relatively well. You put Lamarcus there and he was going to end the night at -50 And take shots from all the young guys to TO the ball.

Y the way I liked Dijon's game.. <3

Spurs will have to settle for quarters on the dollar this summer trading LA. But they have to do it.

His value will be lower than what it could have been 8 months ago. Especially considering he's essentially a 1 yr rental since he'll inevitably opt out. Teams won't want to give up significant assets for a 1 yr rental, unless he agrees to re-sign. But at this point, will a team want to give him a max deal when he's clearly past his prime? And even if Spurs find a team that is a great match ( there being mutual strong interest long term), that team will have leverage to move down his asking price since that's the only team that makes sense.

And Pop added wood to that fire by signing old plodding/No D Gasol to a two year deal ( no way he opts out unless he's pissed about his demotion).

I think he maybe still scarred (like I am) from watching Sloymo cross himself over and dribble ball out of bounds in front of Vince Carter. I've averaged 2 points a game since.
