Sonics forward Reggie Evans is taking advantage of an opportunity to seize a job in the starting lineup. With forward Vladimir Radmanovic sidelined by an inflamed left foot, Evans is playing with the same ferocity that saw him average 9.3 rebounds per game last season. "When you are injured, you're out of the picture," Sonics coach Bob Weiss told the Seattle Times. "Right now, Reggie is playing really well, and so we'll just see how it goes. We got a lot of time left." Evans put up six points, six rebounds, two steals and one block in 20 minutes against the Blazers on Wednesday.

Evans has had an NBA-ready body ever since his days at the University of Iowa, so the fact he is enjoying some success shouldn't come as a surprise. Evans will probably win a significant role in Seattle, but his one-dimensional style won't justify a roster spot in many fantasy leagues.
