View Full Version : If Parker is out we will lose this series in 5 or 6

Thats what logic tells us. So I will go by logic
Our 2nd best player and our most important playmaker
When he plays well we are almost unbeatable (save golden state)
When he is out or plays bad even the sixers cnnbeat us
I am available for multiple ELE bets on this btw
:pctoss
What a shame. When we were almost looking like a decent contender :pctoss
Get well soon Tony

Completely disagree. Remember game 6 vs OKC in 2014 when Parker went down in the 1st half and we were down 10 AT OKC?
Patty started the 2nd half and we got on fire and came back and won. And you know what happened after that.
I was actually a BIG Parker hater at the time and was feeling very confident that Patty would bring us back in that game and he did. Felt extremely vindicated.
Mills is special, I believe in his ability to lead this team from here on out 100%. He should start next game.
Don't get your panties all wet just yet.... let's wait till MRI results and go from there
MRI is just procedural. Pretty clear what happened out there. Either way, even if not a complete tear he's out the rest of the series.
I just don't think this spells the end of the Spurs in this series. I'm assuming Anderson is fine but Harden looked a bit hobbled.

Tony is a pure warrior.
It hurts to see him go out.
If it's in fact an injury that knocks him out for most of next year, there's always the Disabled Player Exception:
http://www.cbafaq.com/salarycap.htm#Q25
But would have to be ruled out for an entire year by a physician (doesn't mean he can't return) and half his salary can be used to sign someone for one season.
Heat got one for Justice Winslow this past season and Nets did for Brook Lopez a few years back.

Would likely be for next year. Because it can only be a one year deal, likely a vet ring chaser. Can be used via trade too though.
Scariest thing is next year could be without ANY of the big three

Hater is the best Spurs fan I've ever had the pleasure of communicating with, tbh..he's contributed more to Spurs titles than the big 3 and Pop combined IMO..
God bless the hater curse, tbh. :worthy:
