Not sure how reliable this is, but on La Nacion, which is where Manu posts his articles, this is the article related to Parker's injury:

NBA: San Antonio Spurs suffers due to a serious injury to Tony Parker, who will not play the remainder of the season

"If we don't have Tony, it will be more difficult to compete against teams like Houston and Golden State", said coach Gregg Popovich before the end of the NBA regular season. Those words echoed again in the San Antonio locker room when this Thursday it was revealed that the French PG broke a tendon on his left quadriceps in the Spurs victory that tied up the series 1-1 with the Rockets. Parker will probably require surgery, which means he's done for the season.

At 34 years old, the basketball player isn't the dynamic creator of years past, but nonetheless a crucial piece in the team's machinery. After the beatdown the Spurs received in the first game against Houston for the Western Conference semi-finals, Parker responded with 18 points in 25 mins before his injury, on the 122-96 victory.

The frenchman landed awkwardly while putting up a shot, and immediately was in severe pain. He finally had to be carried by two teammates to leave the court. At that point, his teammate Emanuel Ginóbili knew something wasn't right. "He doesn't look good. He can't step on that leg. We're very worried about his injury. I'm not optimist, but we'll see what the medical studies say", Manu described.

That study, and what Popovich was suspecting, was confirmed after undergoing an MRI. San Antonio announced the results but there's still no timetable for his rehab. The only concrete thing is that the third game is Friday in Houston and that Patty Mills will start in place of Parker. Now, the Spurs will probably need to give even more responsibilities to Kawhi Leonard, their top scorer and biggest star.
