I'm sure there were tons of other Darko threads before this... all boring.

Ya this is preseason, but it is good to see that he actually can do something.

He has to be able to do something if he was a #2 pick, the question is... can he play in REAL games.

I think Flip is the right coach for Darko. This is just the beginning of Darko becoming a force.

Will he go from victory cigar to gatorade distributor, or will he really surprise us and do both?

at least 2 or 3 of those were because the lead in passer put him in a bad spot. He was playing entirely with bench players, so they were a little slow to get him the ball, and by the time he grabbed it he was already surrounded by defenders trying to strip him. He did have a couple plays where he tried to do to much though (offensive foul, and he unsuccesfully tried to thread the needle), but that happens with a young, inexperienced player.

The best thing about his performance isn't his stats though, it's the way he looks on the court. He is very active and looks like he belongs on the floor. This is a complete transformation from the player we saw under Larry Brown. It's just a shame Flip wasn't here to teach him from day 1. I can't even imagine what this team would be like right now.

Darko had a couple of blocks as well according to the box score.
