Even down 15.

The Rockets is one of those teams that can completely get cold in 3-4 minute stretches.

Inexcusable.

He actually gave up after 3 quarters. Kawhi sat with 3 mins left in the 3rd. Normally he'd have been in to start the 4th. Fuck this coach, man.

I couldn't believe how awful we were defensively in the paint. Rockets will hit from downtown, but that was one of the worst defensive performances I've ever seen from a Pop team in the playoffs. Many Spur fans were arrogant after Game 3, but the Rockets should be able to hit from outside from often than not that you could definitely see Rockets in 6 if they can win the next game.

Pop has an older team -- the worst possible result is to expend a lot and lose with the games every other day now.

Better this than a close loss with all the starters wearing themselves out with big minutes.

Fuck this POS coach, seriously...32yo Lebron just played 46 minutes with his team up 3-0 in the series and this senile faggot is saving 25yo Kawhi for what?

Awful because Aldridge was getting abused on D out there for the entire 3rd qtr and pop didn't pull him.

Get him off the team please.

Maybe because they played like they were tired? I don't think he should've taken them out but damn they played slow. I kind of like them having to sit there and think about how shitty they played.

Again. Not defending but I think the mentality is he doesn't see the team coming back and winning. I think he thinks it's better for our bench players to lose than our starters so that it'll instill some doubt in the other team like "maybe we wouldn't have won if he would've kept them in." I don't agree but that's the only thing I can see. That our he just thought they were tired.

In the playoffs? Are you serious? D'Antoni had his starters in longer and they were the ones with the lead.

cue the idiots who think otherwise. look, the spurs cut it down and every time the rockets fought them off and got it to the teens. kl wasn't looking great, the ball movement sucked, and the d was lazy.

now, pop should have played some different bench guys. I would have liked if dedmon bertans and Forbes played real minutes.

How many times has this team come back from a massive deficit this season? How many of those were against the Rockets? Pop should have had Kawhi in at the start of the 4th and waited to see how the first 4-6 mins went.

Would you rather Kawhi play 40 minutes for a 3% chance of winning the game? Or play 30 and be fresher the rest of the series. Could argue either way. Aldridge got into foul trouble which is why his minutes were way down. Green I don't understand for the life of me.

Off topic, but really unfortunate for Nene tearing his hamstring. Partly for him, as it might be the end of his career. But for the Spurs, it means more five out lineups for the Rockets which pulls Gasol from the floor and forces Lee in. I'd almost prefer to match Aldridge to those lineups and have Gasol in when Capella is in. Lee shouldn't see the floor anymore.

Rockets seemed a little gassed at the end of that OT . . .
