This is the first time that the road team has won in this series the last two years.
I think the Astros just got the upper hand.

Both World Series teams from last year are going to watching the big show together on tv, it looks like.

Lidge has gone over 28 innings without giving up a run against the Cards.

Theyve got this one, but the series isnt over.

Congrats to Oswalt, pitched like the 20 game winning All Star that he is.

Mulder had a tough luck night, but was still off.

Congrats to Burke too, dude is making Beltran look like a stiff.

The only reason I gave the stros a chance was because of the Cards bullpen, thank you Taveras for helping me feel better.

Yeah, ovr the last two years the Astros' two best bullpen pitchers have been Lidge and Taveras.

Julian pitched two pretty good innings in game 7 last year, so its not ENTIRELY true.

That HR by Beltran was not Taveras' fault...that hit was sick.

True, but it was certain;y the exception, not the rule.

Even Russ Springer has an occasional good outing.

Actually they did before tonight. It was Pettitte that owned the Cards, but they reversed roles...it is fine with me. We got the split.

Now we go home to sweep the next 3 games, I hope.

T Park, I thought you said "Cardinals own Oswalt

Before tonight they had.

Oswalt this year, or the last couple years had like a 5 ERA vs the Cards

Pettite owned the Cardinals.

Like Jim said, they switched roles.

I had a feeling it was going back to Houston 1-1, but not this way.
