View Full Version : I Hate Reggie Miller

Lobbying for calls on Houston's behalf. He hit Harden in the head!
Actively cheering Houston comebacks while deadpanning disappointment for San Antonio plays. "What do you think about the pace, Marv," sounding giddy.
Constantly trying to game plan Houston to victory. "Spurs are piling up minutes" when Houston is playing a 7 man rotation and shit the bed down the stretch.
Backhanded, dismissive compliments. "The old man is getting it done."
Incredulous at Spurs success. He sounds surprised when the Spurs do well.

One thing that I cannot stand about former players calling games is that most of them are completely unprofessional. Reggie Miller might be one of the worst I have seen. Hell, Tony Parket fucked Brent Barry's wife yet he is infinitely more professional when talking about the Spurs.

There was this fastbreak, forgot what point in the game it was but it was Danny green getting back on D and Ryan Anderson and another rocket player, Anderson hit a 3 and Regina said "I'm happy he made that shot".....

Reggie was overshadowed by his sister. He's an awkward child in an awkward adult's body. One of those really skinny weirdos with sunken eyes.

Thread title said it all. Thread of the month, IMO.

"D'antoni is asking them to go look at the replay because it should be a flagrant foul."

:lol fucking Reggie.

And there was no fucking follow through. None. Just two guys playing basketball.

My favorite of the night was when Reggie started talking about guys being like ballerinas. Puto maricon.

I'm in agreement. I turn down the sound. I wish there was a program or function that cut out announcers and leave you with the crowd noise..

He's biased as hell tbh.

He won't be doing any more Spurs games for a while.

TNT is done with the Western Conference this season. Game 6 is on ESPN, Game 7 would be on ABC and TNT just does the Eastern Conference Finals after that.

NBAtv did a game like that a few years back. It didn't work out to well. But then again it was meaning regular season game in Orlando. It would be cool for the playoffs.

Reggie repeats himself over and over, and within minutes of making the same point.

Only one more TNT game this year. Sunday is on ABC and conference finals are on ESPN only (TNT gets east). But not sure I prefer Mark Jackson.

He's pretty fair and respectable. Don't mind him.

You either have to be fair and respectable or entertaining with actual basketball knowledgeable, a la Walton and Barkley.

I don't mind the Spurs getting some shit when deserved. Reggie Miller just sounds like shit and sucks dick doing color, imhho.

I've said before that the networks need to take more responsibility for their commentators saying wrong shit. Miller not understanding the rules on when a foul occurs made it seem like the refs fucked OKC. But especially with the replay, it's clear those were good calls. Same with guys like Chuck and Shaq thinking that one shot didn't hit the rim even though the ball changed direction twice. You'd think that with the way the NBA fines guys for bitching about refs that they'd put pressure on their commentators to not create a false sense of unfairness. But nope, Miller still has a job.
