Where has this been all playoffs?

Spurms like to let Kobe Jr do all the work. They got 22 assists already. 22. If KJ was playing, they'd have less than half of that.

We play better without Kawhi forcefully being #1 option
Kawhi should focus on D and cut hard. He should be 4th banana on offense

Who you got as the top 3 options, tbh?

Mills, Manu, Lamarsha and Pau were stars since they were teenagers and have offensive skills by nature

Kawhi dribbles with his head down and kills our rythm in half court

As I said in the game thread, I'm really starting to wonder if Kawhi/LMA is like Melo/Amare.

As crazy as it sounds the Spurs maybe better without Kawhi and going through LA. Kawhi still has room to grow as a #1 option. He's got to be able to make others better. It's the only way. He can't beat the Warriors by himself. Simmons defense on Harden was amazing. I don't think he was just passive.

I think it's more along the lines of learning to compete without your security blanket to defer to which is a good lesson learned.

That has nothing to do with it. But since you threw a tantrum like a five-year-old, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that you read like one.

Melo and Amare both did pretty good things with the Knicks separately, but STAT had a hard time playing with Melo. Sometimes it worked, but ultimately, they had to go with the better offensive player. In this case, that would obviously be Kawhi. I'm not sure LMA's game really fits on the team, not this type of game, at least.

You're wrong. The problem has been injuries and playing old players. Learn basketball fuckface. :lol

People seriously need to stop overreacting to one game where the opposing one-man team got probably the most miserable performance of a superstar ever, on an elimination game, from that one man, tbh.

Some collage teams could have probably beat the Rockets with Harden playing like that, tbh.

22/9 over 34 mpg in the last five outings. And on 51-percent shooting. Seems more like a guy who had a one bad first game rather than one who had one good game.

That you overreacted to his bad first game. He had a good series.

Who?

I was talking about Aldridge's game, which I admit doesn't cover the whole scope of your post. I actually think a lot of this is repeatable, though. They won't score as much or as easily, but if they can synergize with Kawhi, they won't have to. I think LMA can find a high level of success against Draymond if the Spurs feed him in the same places as they did tonight.

While it's true that Aldridge received more passes in deep position and easier paths to the basket, he still made many jump shots that he was missing earlier in the series, tbh..it's just a nature of a player who relies so heavily on mid-range jump shots and fadeaways..

It seems he plays best when he gets enough touches to get comfortable.

He got the same shots than Kawhi last game, LMA shot .33%...I wouldn't make excuses for his poor performances this season. When he sucks, he sucks. When he plays aggressive like he cares about winning...he's amazing.
