Spurs in 6. They've faced better teams and dealt with more playoff adversity while the Warriors (who choke when the pressure is at its peak) have had a cupcake road. I can't believe people here still think the Warriors will easily win a championship without dealing with major adversity. That shit has never existed. The demons from last year will return in this round. This is still the same Warrior team that tightens up the longer and tougher a series gets.

These are the two best teams (arguably in the league) in the West and finally SA gets their shot at GS. Really sucks TP is injured and Kawhi legit hobbled obviously. GS fully healthy and rested. Hopefully SA just does their thing though.

I thought the Spurs will get eliminated in the 2nd round, so they already exceed my expectations... I'd love beating the Warriors, but it will be very, very tough... I think it'll be Warriors in 5, but I hope I am wrong.

HarlemHeat37
05-11-2017, 09:53 PM
Warriors possess Houston's scariest elements(speed and volume 3-point shooting), but they also have the 2nd best defense in the NBA, in addition to paint scoring and 2 top 5 players in the NBA:lol not to mention Draymond Green, one of the most intimidating players in pro sports..

DieHardSpursFan1537
05-11-2017, 09:54 PM
We already know that Kawhi will provide 25+ points a night with top-notch defense. If LMA shows up like he did tonight, then Spurs have a shot but it'll be 6 games minimum.

Yup, I know you can only play who's in front on you, but cmon. GSW is already insanely stacked, and they getting the luck side of injuries too.

this is what i had to say the day after tony went down:

i had the rockets in 6, thought the spurs would win game 2... wanted to wait until there was official word of the injury before changing my prediction.

changing it to spurs in 6.
i didn't post worrying about the spurs getting it done without kawhi.

WTF! GS in 5 or 4? MuthaFKn Spurs in 6 or 5 baby! Are you telling me those fools are just gonna shoot lights out over our pretty damn great defenders? Also they have no interior defense. Even McGee is a shaqtin a fool hall of famer. The dubs are going to be confused ... Is it currys team or Durant? Plus their coach sux. Remember guys everyone said TP was our major flaw... well he gone now. Of course that is if KL is >90% and he doesn't get punked by Barnes. SA will stick it to the Golden gay fags in 6. Ain't gonna rook us! KL will dominate Green.

$pursDynasty

Drunk predicting due to drubbing Houston without KL and TP I would take the Spurs. But Honestly, Houston was absolute shit tonight, it was not all us. They are pathetic. That is a team and a coach to really quit on. How can their fans take that cowardly effort?

It's worth considering at times going with Murray, Simmons, Green, and Kawhi to lock down the Warriors defensively. It also allows you to switch defensively.

I think the Warriors will complete the Western Conference hat trick and sweep San Antonio as well, tbh

I think the games will be competitive but their roster is historically stacked and I just can't see San Antonio's roster beating Curry, Durant, Thompson, Green in a 48 minute game currently. IMO, the only way you're beating this team is to get in their head a little bit and the Cavs are the only team that can really do that

What I'm saying is that everything revolved around a dominant guy like Shaq in that Lakers team... when he declined, the team declined...

The Dubs are super stacked and much less reliant on just one dominant guy... it could be KD one day, Curry the next, Klay, Iggy....

I'm not messing with this poll. The Spurs will have to play their best basketball to win the series. They are going to have to play almost perfect 4 times. That said, GS is due for a loss or 4.

If you think the Warriors are going to win in 4 or 6, you're crazy.

The last time the Spurs lost a closeout game at home was in 2010 to Phoenix. Highly doubt we'd lose a series at home. We have too much pride for that. Could see us losing in 5, or this going 7, but not ending in 4 or 6.

If Spurs can split 2-2 after 4 games then they will win the series. I think the Warriors would crumble in that situation since they are not a team that handles adversity well. If the Spurs go down 0-3 or 1-3 after 4 games then it's over.
